My Picks for Kickest Fantasy Serie A Round 3

After a Round 2 disaster, here are my transfers and lineup for Round 3 on Kickest.

After a strong debut… came the crash. From 81st place to 4,678th in just one Round: my R2 was a disaster. A blackout, yes, but at least it came early — from here, things can only get better (right?).

It all started with one piece of news: Pulisic heading to the bench vs Lecce. And it was true — Pulisic didn’t start. But that triggered a domino effect of bad choices: out Pulisic for Politano, out Cancellieri for Ferguson, out Hermoso for Pezzella… and the final blow? Di Francesco in for Sarri. I’ll repeat it, still in disbelief: a total disaster.

Now, a reset is mandatory. Head focused on Round 3. And as always, I’ll rely on my Fixture Ticker to plan the 5 transfers of the week.

Transfers for Round 3 on Kickest

Out: Leali (Genoa), In: Suzuki (Parma)

After a tough start against Juventus (away) and Atalanta (home), Parma now face a softer run: Cagliari–Cremonese–Torino–Lecce–Genoa. Replacing Leali (10.1 cr) with Suzuki (10 cr) makes sense — I even gain a small +0.1 profit, and it saves me a transfer later. Suzuki starts in T1, with Carnesecchi ready to sub in from the bench against Lecce.

Out: Sucic (Inter), In: Bernabé (Parma)

Not the last Parma player I’ll pick. According to the Fixture Ticker, Cuesta’s team has the softest run of all 20 Serie A sides, and I have to exploit it. Enter Adrián Bernabé (12.5 cr) for Sucic (15.3 cr), who’s been inconsistent so far and faces a tough Derby d’Italia. The swap also frees up 1.8 credits — valuable for later moves.

Out: Loftus-Cheek (Milan), In: Tramoni (Pisa)

Yes, I’m selling Loftus-Cheek (13.2 cr) right after a 23.9 FPT game and his first league goal. Why? Because the issues seen against Cremonese and Lecce aren’t erased by one goal. With Rabiot arriving and Bologna’s pressing under Italiano, Allegri might start the Frenchman in his place. So in comes Matteo Tramoni (10.4 cr), a fan favorite this season who also gives me +2.8 credits. After facing Atalanta and Roma, Tramoni was quiet, but against Udinese he could finally deliver an assist or goal.

Out: Politano (Napoli), In: Pellegrino (Parma)

From Matteo to Mateo. Out goes Politano (13.1 cr), in comes Mateo Pellegrino (9.8 cr) — whom we already featured in Cotte: “192 cm of aerial dominance, 85 kilos of raw strength, a ponytail made for bar fights in Buenos Aires, the look of an ‘80s NBA pivot, and the nickname ‘El Tanque’ that writes itself.” The Argentine striker is a mid-term pick for at least 4–5 Rounds, with hopes he scores his first Serie A goal this weekend.

Out: Di Francesco (Lecce), In: Juric (Atalanta)

Time to fix the worst mistake of Round 2. I swapped Sarri for Eusebio Di Francesco (5.9 cr), thinking a Leão- and Pulisic-less Milan might stumble again. Result? –2.61 FPT for Di Francesco vs +21.60 FPT for Sarri. And to think I’d just written a piece on how important the coach slot is… Now I’m bringing in Ivan Juric (9.3 cr). After two draws (Pisa, Parma), Atalanta must win — and with Lecce up next, I expect them to finally do it. A one-Round rental, but an intense one.

My Team for Round 3

The mission is to recover from the Round 2 disaster. Hopefully these choices will help — as long as I don’t panic and make last-minute changes.

Good luck to all Fantasy Serie A managers: see you before Round 4, hopefully higher in the standings!
