Introducing the Kickest Cup

Discover the new Kickest Cup, the first-ever head-to-head competition on Kickest, available starting from the 2026/27 season.

The Kickest Cup is Kickest’s head-to-head competition. It features a long group stage, followed by a knockout phase, with a dedicated prize awarded to the winner.

But how do you qualify? How many teams take part? How do head-to-head matches work, and what happens in the event of a tie?

Here’s everything you need to know about the Kickest Cup 2026/27.

What is the Kickest Cup?

The Kickest Cup is reserved for the best Fantasy managers.

At the end of Round 5, the top 10,000 teams in the Overall standings automatically qualify for the competition.

No separate registration is required: if you’re among the top 10,000 teams after the first five Rounds, you’ll automatically secure your place in the Cup.

When does the Kickest Cup start?

The competition begins in Round 6 of Serie A.

The 10,000 qualified teams are divided into:

  • 1,000 groups
  • 10 teams per group

The Kickest Cup Group Stage

Each team faces the other nine teams in its group twice (home and away), for a total of 18 matchdays.

For every head-to-head match:

  • 3 points for a win
  • 1 point for a draw
  • 0 points for a loss

The group standings are updated after every Round.

How the Goal Tiers work

Head-to-head matches in the Kickest Cup are decided using the official Goal Tiers, which convert your Fantasy Points (FPT) into goals.

Fantasy Points (FPT)Goals
Below 1300
130 – 154.91
155 – 179.92
180 – 204.93
205 – 229.94
230 – 254.95
255 or more6
Important: Goal Tiers may be adjusted after the first five Rounds if necessary, in order to better reflect the new Scoring System.

For example, a team scoring 186 FPT earns 3 goals, while an opponent with 171 FPT scores 2 goals, resulting in a 3-2 victory and three points in the standings.

Who qualifies for the Knockout Stage?

At the end of the group stage, the following teams advance:

  • the top two teams from each group;
  • the 48 best third-placed teams.

A total of 2,048 teams qualify for the knockout stage and continue their journey towards the Final.

How the Knockout Stage works

From the first knockout round onwards, every match is an elimination match.

If two teams finish with the same number of goals, the tie is broken as follows:

  • the team with the higher Fantasy Points (FPT) in that Round advances;
  • if the FPT total is also identical, the team ranked higher in the Overall standings at the end of the previous Round qualifies.

The Kickest Cup Final will be played in Round 36.
