My Picks for Kickest Fantasy Serie A – Round 31

Let’s break down the five most interesting picks for the next Serie A and Kickest weekend.

During the week, the third Italian sporting psychodrama unfolded, with Italy failing to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, after also missing the 2022 tournament in Qatar and the 2018 edition in Russia. Now it’s time for Serie A to return, in a sports weekend that will provide important answers in the Scudetto and Champions League race.

I’m picking up the Fixture Ticker again and selecting the 5 changes to make for this 31st Serie A matchday and Kickest!

Out Svilar (Roma), in Carnesecchi (Atalanta)

A swap between top goalkeepers for our team: we leave Mile Svilar at home and bring Marco Carnesecchi back into the squad. Roma travel to Milan to face an Inter side determined to resume their run and close the title race. Since we already have Milinkovic-Savic involved in the big match against Milan, we opt for an alternative with a more comfortable fixture. The choice therefore falls on Carnesecchi, whose Atalanta travel to Lecce.

Out Ostigard (Genoa), in Ulisses Garcia (Sassuolo)

After his excellent performances, we decide to drop Leo Ostigard for the away match in Turin against Juventus. In his place, a surprise gamble: Ulisses Garcia. The Sassuolo full-back arrived in January and quickly managed to “steal” the starting spot from Doig, who was still having a positive season.

Out Valeri (Parma), in Dodo (Fiorentina)

The away trip to Rome against Lazio and Parma’s difficult moment lead us to drop Emanuele Valeri for this round. In his place, one of the few bright spots in Fiorentina’s disastrous season, Dodo. The Brazilian full-back is increasingly becoming a driving force for the Viola, and his team will face a run of more favorable fixtures, as suggested by our Fixture Ticker.

Out Pisilli (Roma), in Zalewski (Atalanta)

Despite Niccolò Pisilli’s good form, we decide to leave him out of our 16 for this 32nd matchday. In his place, Nicola Zalewski, whose Atalanta side are preparing to face Lecce. The former Inter and Roma player has been among Atalanta’s best this season, even though he hasn’t produced big numbers, currently standing at 2 goals and 3 assists.

Out Hojlund (Napoli), in Simeone (Torino)

We leave Rasmus Hojlund out for this round. Up front we had to choose between him and Doyell Malen to drop, and we opted for the Dane, who could suffer a psychological setback after Denmark failed to qualify for the World Cup. In his place, we choose former Napoli striker Giovanni Simeone. This decision is also supported by our Fixture Ticker, which suggests a softer schedule for Torino.
