My Picks for Kickest Fantasy Serie A – Round 30

Let’s break down the five most interesting picks for the next Serie A and Kickest weekend.

Here we are again with our usual weekly appointment featuring five recommended picks for the Kickest weekend. Last week we hit the jackpot with our wildcard Ostigard, who delivered an outstanding score of 39.30 FPT. Let’s try to repeat that this week—maybe even finding more than one wildcard.

I’m pulling out the Fixture Ticker once again to select the 5 changes to make for this 30th round of Serie A and Kickest!

Out Parisi (Fiorentina), in Bartesaghi (Milan)

After the solid performances he gave us when we decided to back him two or three matchdays ago, it’s time to say goodbye to Fabiano Parisi, especially with a tough clash against Inter coming up. In his place, we’re going with Davide Bartesaghi. After his injury, he returned as a substitute against Lazio, and against Torino he should be back in the starting lineup, replacing Estupiñán, who—aside from the derby performance—still showed his struggles at the Olimpico.

Out Obrador (Torino), in Kempf (Como)

The match at San Siro against Milan pushes us toward replacing Rafa Obrador, despite his good impact at Torino and the positive run for D’Aversa’s side. In his place, we choose Marc-Oliver Kempf. With an average of 13.77 FPT over the last 10 games and two goals this season, he has become one of Fabregas’ key players. Our Fixture Ticker suggests backing him for at least the next two matchdays, which look more “manageable” on paper for Como.

Out Fagioli (Fiorentina), in De Bruyne (Napoli)

After nearly five months out due to injury (and subsequent surgery) for a right hamstring tear, Kevin De Bruyne is back. He had a brief cameo against Lecce (10 minutes), followed by an excellent performance against Torino, coming off the bench and already showing great fluidity and clarity. Against Cagliari, he should return to the starting lineup, playing behind Højlund, and we can’t pass up the opportunity to bring him back into our team. Making way for him is the excellent Nicolò Fagioli.

Out Zielinski (Inter), in Pisilli (Roma)

We’re leaving Piotr Zielinski out for this round, as he has looked a bit tired and off-form in Inter’s recent matches. Moreover, against Fiorentina, Calhanoglu is expected to return, which could see the Pole moved to left mezzala—or even rested initially. Roma will face Lecce, and after their Europa League elimination against Bologna, Gasperini’s team cannot afford to slip up against the Salento side. In midfield, Niccolò Pisilli—one of Roma’s most in-form players—could feature again.

Out Grosso (Sassuolo), in Giampaolo (Cremonese)

Cremonese have decided to make a change, sacking Davide Nicola and entrusting their survival hopes to Marco Giampaolo. The former Lecce coach arrives with the aim of immediately rediscovering a win that has been missing since early December. The match against a relatively “safe” Parma, sitting on 34 points, could allow Cuesta’s players to play with a bit more freedom, while Cremonese may benefit from the typical boost that comes with a managerial change, as they look to secure crucial points in this final stretch of the season.
