My Picks for Kickest Fantasy Serie A – Round 29

Let’s break down the five most interesting picks for the next Serie A and Kickest weekend.

We are entering the decisive phase of the season. The 29th round of the league is just around the corner, with 10 games left until the end. The title race may be open again, the battle for Champions League spots has never been so fierce, and the relegation fight is just as intense. The same goes for our Kickest choices, which are becoming more and more delicate and important — the margin for error is getting smaller and smaller!

Once again, I’m arming myself with the Fixture Ticker to select the five transfers to make for Serie A Matchday 29 on Kickest.

Out Tavares (Lazio), In Obrador (Torino)

We tried to trust him after a brief recovery period in what has been a disastrous season for Nuno Tavares. He actually did quite well starting against Sassuolo, but against a Milan side coming off the derby — and dreaming of truly reopening the title race — it’s better not to take the risk.
In his place, we bring in a new face from D’Aversa’s Torino, Rafa Obrador. Among the best performers in the last two matches, he also gives us an interesting T1 option in the match against Parma.

Out Vojvoda (Roma), In Ostigard (Genoa)

Mergim Vojvoda is the true wildcard for Fabregas: a wide midfielder, attacking winger, full-back, and sometimes even a third centre-back. However, in the last two matches against Cagliari and Lecce he hasn’t shown great form, so we decide to part ways with him for this round.
Leo Ostigard has become the central pillar of De Rossi’s new Genoa. His defensive solidity and his contribution on attacking set pieces (4 league goals) make him one of the most in-form defenders in the league.

Out Solomon (Fiorentina), In Fagioli (Fiorentina)

From Viola to Viola. Solomon’s injury forces us to look for new midfield options. To find one, we don’t even need to move clubs, as Nicolò Fagioli — despite a not-so-great performance in the last match — has caught our attention thanks to his recent form: an average of 15.6 FPT in the last five games. Against Cremonese, Fiorentina cannot afford to make a mistake.

Out Vergara (Napoli), In McKennie (Juventus)

Another injury forces us to change yet another midfielder — and it won’t be the last. Antonio Vergara will be sidelined for at least a month due to a plantar fascia injury.
In his place we need reliability, which is why we’re bringing in Weston McKennie, now a key figure in Luciano Spalletti’s midfield, in addition to the goals and assists he has provided throughout the season. Our Fixture Ticker also suggests taking advantage of Juventus’ favorable upcoming schedule.

Out Rabiot (Milan), In Maldini (Lazio)

The final move is also a forced one: Adrien Rabiot’s suspension opens the door in our team for Daniel Maldini. The former Atalanta player is finding a new life under Maurizio Sarri, who immediately placed him at the center of the attack — a role where few expected to see him.
However, Maldini has responded brilliantly, playing perhaps the best football of his career so far and becoming a regular starter, even scoring in the last match against Sassuolo. The clash with Milan will be tough, but we’re willing to take this gamble.

My team for round 28 on Kickest
