My Picks for Kickest Fantasy Serie A – Round 25
Let’s break down the five most interesting picks for the next Serie A and Kickest weekend.
It’s already time for changes and a new Kickest round. After a positive weekend — thanks to goals from Lautaro, Malen, Solet, McTominay, and a superb performance from Dimarco — it’s now time to look ahead and prepare in the best possible way for the next Serie A round.
I’m bringing out the Fixture Ticker once again to select the 5 transfers to make for this 25th Serie A and Kickest round!
Out: Bernasconi (Atalanta), In: Martin (Genoa)
Atalanta are preparing for their clash against Lazio, and at the moment Bernasconi appears to be one step behind Zalewski in the pecking order. Our Fixture Ticker also shows that after the match against Sarri’s side, Atalanta’s schedule won’t be easy.
On the other hand, Genoa are about to face two very winnable fixtures in their battle for survival. That’s why our choice falls on Aaron Martin, who has returned as a regular starter under De Rossi and remains one of the main chance creators for the Rossoblù.
Out: Spinazzola (Napoli), In: Palestra (Cagliari)
This time, he’s here to stay. Marco Palestra has often been part of our selections — sometimes as a new addition, other times making room for someone else. But on this occasion, the Cagliari wing-back could remain in our squad for several weeks, considering the favourable short-term fixtures awaiting the Sardinian side.
Making way for him is Leonardo Spinazzola, given Napoli’s current struggles and an upcoming double challenge against Roma and Atalanta that looks anything but simple.
Out: Toure (Pisa), In: Vergara (Napoli)
Antonio Vergara’s incredible rise is there for everyone to see. Whether due to injuries or circumstance, he has now become one of Napoli’s few certainties under Conte. Over the last three weeks, he has scored three goals in three different competitions, along with delivering high-level performances.
We’ll take advantage of his still-affordable price on Kickest and back this move ahead of the clash with Roma. Meanwhile, we say goodbye to Idrissa Toure of Pisa, who once again failed to fully repay our trust.
Out: K. Thuram (Juventus), In: Rabiot (Milan)
Inter are in outstanding form and continue to protect their place at the top of the table. Despite their “Big Match virus” — still no wins this season against Napoli, Milan, or Juventus — Saturday night’s showdown with Juventus will be a complicated one for Spalletti’s men.
We therefore part ways with Khephren Thuram, also because we need both a squad slot and some extra credits to take advantage of Milan’s favourable upcoming schedule. In comes Adrien Rabiot, who is becoming increasingly decisive under Allegri.
Out: Scamacca (Atalanta), In: Pellegrino (Parma)
We use our final transfer to strengthen the attack. Gianluca Scamacca has been slightly slowed down by some muscular issues, so we’ve decided to replace him with the “gentle giant” Mateo Pellegrino.
The Argentine striker hasn’t scored in a while, but he could find the net again in a match that feels like a last-chance opportunity for Verona in their difficult fight for survival.
